Treanor Architects was commissioned to assist Texas County, Missouri, in a public referendum that would create a new justice center. The new center includes a 72-bed jail, sheriff’s offices, juvenile services, prosecuting attorney offices, public administrator, coroner’s office, three courtrooms and associated staff offices encompassing approximately 60,000 square feet.
Located on a site near downtown Houston, Missouri, the project referendum passed in November 2005. Treanor Architects was responsible for developing design and construction documents that allowed the project to be completed in 2008.
