Historic Courthouse

Treanor Architects, P.A., was hired to do a historic preservation plan for this 100-year-old courthouse. The firm’s responsibility was to analyze the exterior stone, conduct a material conservation analysis and prepare a maintenance plan for all historic materials.

Treanor Architects began the process by conducting a zoning analysis of the character defining spaces. In addition, our firm assisted Douglas County in obtaining a Heritage Trust Fund Grant and state historic tax credits for project funding.
