Page Business Center
St. Louis, MissouriSt. Louis' First "Green" Business Park
GreenStreet Properties, Treanor Architects, and GS&S General Contractors teamed to create St. Louis’ first “green” business park. With the assistance of St. Louis green building consultant, Vertegy, the nearly 10-acre Page Business Center was designed utilizing the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design specifications.
The three buildings (one renovation and two new buildings) are being designed in phases. Phase one included the renovation of the old Dorris Gear Company manufacturing plant. The design incorporates recycled materials, a raised floor system, an open floor plan and exposed ceilings with skylights to allow for natural light throughout the space. The entire building was re-skinned and new windows were added to give the exterior a fresh new look. The building’s interior has been designed for flexibility. Tenants can use the space entirely for offices or easily divide the interior into a combination of offices and light manufacturing or warehouse areas. The facility, which is now occupied by Landis+Gyr, is certified LEED CS 2.0 Gold.
Phase two is a new office and warehouse structure designed for Midwest Testing. That facility is also LEED certified NC 2.2 Silver.
Plans for phase three of the Page Business Center include the construction of another new LEED certified office and warehouse building.
